About ME

As a collaborative divorce facilitator, mediator, parenting coordinator and conflict/communications coach, Ronnie assists families in the resolution of issues related to divorce, parenting, estate planning and distribution, and aging. With degrees in psychology (undergraduate) and health administration/community health (graduate), and long-time experience providing services to multi-generational families going through transitions, Ronnie understands the dynamics of families and the developmental needs of children, ranging from newborns to adolescents.

She was recognized by Jefferson County Mediation Services as their Divorce and Parenting Mediator of the Year for 2007, is qualified by the Mediation Association of Colorado as a Professional Mediator, and has been trained in Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg. From 2008-2011, Ronnie was the executive director of VORP of Denver, a nonprofit agency providing restorative justice and conflict resolution services, and was a member of the Colorado Office of Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee, 2012-2016, appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Colorado. She completed three years serving on the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Practice Group Development Committee, was the co-chair of Rocky Mountain Collaborative Law Professionals, and in 2016 was the President of the Board of the Colorado Collaborative Divorce Professionals.

Ronnie has lived in a cohousing community in Golden, Colorado since 1997 and is a resource for other intentional communities. She is a frequent presenter, and provides consultation and facilitation about a variety of topics, such as developing inclusive yet efficient processes, decision-making, managing conflict, and improving communication.

Through her professional and personal endeavors, Ronnie is able to actualize her commitment to being a peacemaker.
