On a personal side:

Ray is a Colorado native. I have lived in Colorado most of my life. I grew up in Lakewood/Wheat Ridge area, I graduated from Regis Jesuit High School (Denver). I love to learn; discuss any number of topics; I like to know why and how things work; and read. I will generally have 3-5 books going at any one time. I grew up on a construction site. I have built single-family homes, apartments buildings, hotels, commercial properties, industrial buildings, and office complexes. I generally look at life as an optimist and generally through rose-colored glasses.

As SCUBA diving enthusiast, I teach SCUBA to students, so they can explore the underwater world. This also helps me fulfill my passion for teaching others. One of the passions I have right now is teaching handicap (quadriplegics, paraplegics, and blind) people to dive. My favorite place to dive is the Turks & Caicos Islands.

I live in Lakewood, with my wife, Karron. Our daughter, Cassidi – 23 years old, is trying to figure out life right now. My stepson, Jay – 35 years old, and his wife Ashley and grandson Liam.
