About ME
Nicole R. Hanson is a collaboratively trained attorney who focuses her practice in domestic relations matters. Nicole grew up in Nebraska and received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law.
Drawn to the mountains, Nicole moved to Colorado and began her legal career working as a Deputy District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District in Colorado Springs. In 2007 Nicole began specializing in domestic relations law and joined a litigation firm in Cherry Creek. During her tenure, she became an equity shareholder and remained with the firm for 13 years.
In 2019, Nicole founded the Hanson Law Firm, LLC with the intention of providing a more personal experience for clients involved in family law matters. Having focused more than 15 years of her career in domestic relations law, she has the experience necessary to deliver highly competent, proactive and diligent representation for her clients.
Nicole makes every effort to get to know her clients and their individual goals and expectations through forming close professional legal relationships. She understands the benefit of collaborative resolution in family law matters and takes the steps necessary to help her clients achieve their goals in the least adversarial and most cost-effective manner possible.
