About ME
Christopher T. Erickson is Of Counsel at Wells Family Law PC. His practice is devoted exclusively to all aspects of matrimonial law, including dissolution of marriages, parenting plan issues, allocation of parenting time responsibility matters, maintenance litigation, complex property and financial issues, relocation matters, and post-decree disputes. Mr. Erickson also has experience with cases involving domestic violence, high conflict child custody litigation, school-placement issues, and special needs children. With substantial experience in family litigation, Mr. Erickson knows first-hand the devastating toll litigation can take on parents and children. He firmly believes a negotiated resolution meeting the needs of all involved, especially the children, is always superior to traditional litigation and court involvement.
Mr. Erickson is an alumni of the University of Colorado - Boulder. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer (2023-2024) and, prior to that, a Super Lawyer Rising Star (2018-2021). He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA) and its Family Law Section. Mr. Erickson also volunteers his time assisting self-represented parties in court through the Denver's Metro Volunteer Lawyers.
