About ME
I am a Collaboratively trained family law attorney and mediator, and I’ve been practicing family law since I moved back home to Colorado in 2007. I was born and raised in Boulder, and I grew up in my father’s family law practice before joining the field myself after law school. For the past six years, my practice has focused exclusively on helping families transition out of marriage via settlement. Many of my clients choose to use the Collaborative process to make that transition, but some choose meditation and/or unbundled services. No matter how a couple chooses to transition out of their marriage, I consider it my duty to maintain integrity and respect for all the people involved while simultaneously providing outstanding representation. I find tremendous satisfaction in helping people with opposing legal interests find creative ways to solve disputes, minimize financial and emotional collateral damage, and – to the extent possible – develop a new way of relating to each other that supports healthy co-parenting.
I came to Collaborative Law after a long career litigating family law cases in Court. Over the years, I watched traditionally litigated family law cases unfold and consistently felt that there must be a better, less destructive way for family systems to reorganize themselves after experiencing divorce. I am proud to be part of making Collaborative Law available and am excited to offer families a chance to reorganize in a healthier way.
